Sterling Partners, a leading growth-oriented private equity firm with a rich history of successful investing in the education space, released a specialized microsite for its first-ever sector-focused fund, the $200 million Education Opportunity Fund (“EOF”). EOF, Sterling’s first-ever sector-focused fund, was launched in partnership with USA Funds, a mission-driven, nonprofit organization with a focus on promoting a more purposeful path for students to and through college and on to rewarding careers and successful lives. The Fund will provide capital of between $10 and $25 million per investment platform to distinctive companies that have reached proof of concept and commercial adoption, and are ready for scale.
The new microsite contains information specific to the Fund’s investment focus and strategic expertise in the education industry, team, portfolio investments, and general news and contact information.
Sterling co-founder and Senior Managing Director Chris Hoehn-Saric leads the Education Opportunity Fund with Managing Directors Shoshana Vernick and Jason Rosenberg. Senior Associates Alana Rush and Patrick Quay are also part of the team.
